Primos Limicole Duck Whistle

This whistle allows you to easily reproduce the calls of all shorebirds and some ducks such as the pintail, teal, wigeon, and mallard. The limicole whistle is the perfect tool for waterfowl hunters. This whistle comes with its strap.

Instructions for using the Primos Limicole whistle:

Hold the whistle between your thumb and middle finger, using your index finger to create variations of the sounds of shorebirds and ducks (see diagram).

• Plover: "fuiii, fuuu, fuiii, fuuu" with an open end.
• Oystercatcher: "Pupi, pupi, pupi" with an open end, short bursts.
• Redshank: "Tiu du, tiu du" with an open end, short bursts.
• Greenshank: "Tiiu tiu tiu tiu tiu" with an open end, short bursts.
• Wigeon: "wi, wii" or "we, wee, hoo," with an open end.
• Pintail: "pump, pump, pump..." with a 3/4 closed end, roll the sound with your tongue.
• Winter teal: "pip, pip, pip..." with a 1/2 closed end, roll the sound with your tongue.
